Yesterday it was announced that all Star Wars miniatures games will be shifted over to Atomic Mass Games by its parent company Asmodee. Fantasy Flight Games has held the license since 2012 with their launch of Star Wars X-Wing.

Alex Devy, lead developer of Star Wars Legion, has been confirmed to have been laid off by Asmodee/FFG. He will not be officially involved with the game going forward.

Before working on Legion Alex was a developer on Star Wars X-Wing.

His being layoff had come as a shock to the Legion community.
