I hope you all had a great holiday season! I meant to post this up but alias I’ve been sick!
Incase you needed some tips in painting those lovable fur balls you most certainly picked up last week, here is another wonderful tutorial from the master miniature painter himself, Sorastro. The tutorial features Chewbacca of course, but also includes Gaarkhan which gives you a second option for those Wookiee Warriors. After following these guides you should be able to create your own custom paint jobs for the rest of your walking carpets.

Today marks the long awaited day that the wookiees join the fight against the Galactic Empire. And of course FFG has a little write up about their release:

Despite their imposing size, Wookiees are normally peaceful and proud. After years of suffering under Imperial rule, however, many Wookiees have taken to the battlefields of the Galactic Civil War as members of the Rebel Alliance. Although they are a rare sight on the battlefield, Wookiees can quickly enter a berserker rage that any surviving enemies will not soon forget.
Within the Wookiee Warriors Unit Expansion for Star Wars: Legion, Rebel generals will find everything they need to add a group of Wookiees to their army as a special forces unit. Release: Chewbacca and the Wookiee Warriors Shipping Now!
FFG has changed the status of Chewbacca and his warring carpet friends to “Shipping Now”. This should make their release officially Dec 20th here in the USA and around that date for the rest of the world.
Just in time for Santa to insure these are safely under your trees Christmas morning.
